How can you be a barber in the military as a civilian at 43 years of age?

You can visit the AAFES web site and see if they have any openings for it. There is a job search there that allows you to apply for anything that is ran by AAFES and they run the barber shops on post. Military spouses get priority on jobs there but you can still apply. How can you be a barber in the military as a civilian at 43 years of age?
You would be a civilian, not in the military. You would have to have your license to do it. I know for cosmetology school it is between 1500-1800 hours of schooling. Then you have to take your state board test. If you are already a barber then i would probably go to the website and find out how to apply. How can you be a barber in the military as a civilian at 43 years of age?
short answer: you don't. most base barbers are civilians anyway you just have to apply like you would any other job.

at 43 you are too old to enlist inany Branch regardless.
Go to a base barber shop and fill out a job application. They're not DOD but rather civilians who won the contract to work on base.
