Westbrook is playing Dallas, Alexander against a tough San Diego front, Barber III who has been on FIRE, and McGahee who is playing Tenessee. I appreciate the comments and reason why you choose the BEST 2 to start. Thanks!Who to start at reciever in my Championship Fantasy Football Matchup? Westbrook,Alexander,Barber III,McGahee?
Well the first option is an easy choice, Westbrook. He faces a 7th ranked Dallas Run D, but has over 100 all purpose yards in all but 2 games this season and in some he has over or close to 200. He is severely underrated and is the primary weapon in the Philly offense. He also has 11 total touchdowns including two last week.
The second is a toss up between Barber and McGahee.
Last year I never thought I'd say it, but sit Alexander. He's had a rough season and San Diego's defensive front is ranked 6th. He's not a terrible option, but you have better ones.
Barber III is a nice pick, because Parcells is in love with him, and he often gets goal line and second half carries (once the defense is worn down). Philly has the 28th ranked run defense and Barber's performance against NO should be overlooked. He only had 2 carries, because the Saints forced a shootout with thier high powered offense. That means Barber never had a change to pound away at the Defense. His 13 touchdowns cannot be overlooked.
Then there is McGahee, who has suffered some injuries over the year (not to mention his young career), he got rocked by Zach Thomas last week and his ribs are sore, but he goes up against Tennessee's 30th ranked run defense, which officially makes him the ';best'; statistical option. That offense is awfully suspect, however, and A Train has snaked some time away from him in the past. Lately, though, Willis has been pretty solid, picking up 4 of his 5 rushing touchdowns in the second half of the season.
So, start Westbrook and I hope the information I've provided helps with the Barber/McGahee choice.Who to start at reciever in my Championship Fantasy Football Matchup? Westbrook,Alexander,Barber III,McGahee?
Barber III %26amp; Westbrook
Westbrook is the next best option to LT
Alexander is at hoome and they will pound the ball but hes also a risk cause they have so many recievers barber is always hit and miss but should score a TD and mcgahee is to suspect and so is the buffalo line
Out of the bunch I would say Westbrook is a definite must start. He's too solid to not ever start him.
Shaun Alexander normally would be a must start but he hasn't looked good the past few weeks. He had a lousy game against Arizona last week.
Barber III is a TD machine but you have to wonder how many carries he will get. He had an awful game against the Saints but then again he has the potential to score a lot of points.
McGahee would be my choice for the 2nd RB just because he's playing an average Tennessee defense. He should get a good amount of carries and with Losman looking good, they can't sell out stopping the run. I think McGahee should get over 100 yds. and a TD.
It's a toss up between Barber III (Philly's rush defense has looked pitiful) and McGahee. Go with your gut. I think they will both have good days.
Barber III because he is so on fire and Alexander because he is so tough.
None of em would be who i would start at reciever, but if you want to know who to start at rb i would definatly have to say start Westbrook first of all because he is the lifeblood of the philly team since mcnabb has been out. Then i would probably play mcgahee because of the matchup with tennessee.
