GIRLS, would you ever consider visiting a barber for a trim?

i am a barberGIRLS, would you ever consider visiting a barber for a trim?
If they knew how to deal with women's hair.

It is also a lot cheaper my mum got her hair trimmed their for 拢 8 but in the hairdressers it cost about 拢 25 - 30.

For most women it is just the fact it is called a barber that they might not go if it is called a unisex hairdressers or something they are more willing or if there is at least one female working there because they might find it embarrassing sitting in a room full of men.

Have some posters of women's haircuts.

Good Luck with your business.GIRLS, would you ever consider visiting a barber for a trim?
No because when there are hairdressers specialaised in cutting women's hair I prefer to go to them.

And how do I know if a barber will understand about how i want my layers done etc.

Also barber's cut men's hair which is generally short and mine is long.

And barbers are associated with men - i'd feel a bit stupid.

There is the possibility that they may object to cutting my hair.

I've never seen a barber cutting a woman's hair - I've seen male hairdressers but not barbers.
Hmmm, that's a good question. I'd be afraid a barber would cut too much and not really have a sense of style' but that may be biased on my part. I suggest you put posters of women's hair styles and make a point of advertising that you do women's cuts. I've seen men have awful hair cuts and beard trims from women stylists so I'd be afraid the same thing would happen if I went to a barber.
i dont see why not. infact i actualy hate the whole sitting around in a salon that has a sickly smell of hair products for hours making small talk with the hairdresser.

it would be good to have somewhere to just pop in for a trim and theres probably alot of girls that feel the same
Sorry no. There might be some women with very short hair that won't mind you trimming it, but for the most part, if you want to cut women's hair you will have to go back to a beauty college and train for it. Honestly you probbaly make just as much as a barber since you don't have to buy as many supplies.
No, not a traditional barber. Unless I had really short hair and wanted a razor cut underneath it. Sorry.
nope,,I work as a barber and we dont like to see women coming in,,,we will only cut there hair if they desire to have it left then one inch long...so I would say its a No
No! Never!
what's the difference between a barber and a hairdresser??
Hmm.. Personally no, i dont think i would.
no diference lol
Don't see why not. Used to go every month with my dad when I was little. x
yes,if he knows what he's doing.
